Privacy policy
What we collect when you buy, who sees it, and what never leaves your computer.
Last updated 2 November 2026- The OmniReel studio runs on your computer. It does not send us your files, scripts, photos, videos or prompts, and it has no telemetry.
- We keep your order details: who you are, what you bought, what you paid, and your support messages.
- Payments go through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your AI agent, voice-over and optional AI footage use other companies’ services, under your own accounts.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing us.
Who we are
OmniReel AI Video Studio (Sisu Digital), Kala-Matti 4, 02230 Espoo, Finland, runs omnireel.video and sells OmniReel. We are responsible for the personal information described on this page. You can reach us at info@omnireel.video.
The studio stays on your computer
OmniReel runs on your own computer. It does not send your files, scripts, photos, videos or prompts to us. There is no OmniReel cloud, and OmniReel has no telemetry. We cannot see what you make. The Private by design page says more.
What leaves your computer
OmniReel works with other companies’ services. Data goes to them only if you choose to use them. You use them under your own accounts and under their terms and privacy policies.
- Your AI agent provider. Anthropic (Claude Code), OpenAI (Codex) or Google (Gemini CLI). What your agent sends is covered by its provider’s terms and privacy policy.
- ElevenLabs. For voice-over, the text to be spoken is sent to ElevenLabs.
- Google Flow or Google Veo. These are optional. If you use them for generated images and footage, what you send goes to Google. Google bills the Flow credits.
We do not run these services. We are not responsible for how they handle your data. Please read their policies.
What we collect when you buy
When you place an order or write to us, we collect:
- Your name and email address.
- Your country, and the billing details we need for tax.
- What you bought and what you paid.
- Your licence key.
- Payment references from Stripe.
- Your support messages, and anything you send with them.
Most of this comes from you, at checkout or when you write to us. Stripe also tells us that your payment went through, and give us a reference for it. We need your name and email address to deliver your order. Without them we cannot send your download link or licence key.
If you send us a file or command output in a support message, for example the result of python -m studio doctor, we receive what you send. Please leave out anything private.
Why we use it
- To take payment, deliver your download and licence key, and keep your licence valid.
- To give you support and write to you about your order.
- To handle tax and accounting and to meet our legal duties.
- To prevent fraud and misuse of licences.
- To understand how the website is used and to measure our ads, as described below.
Where the law asks us to name a legal basis, it is one of these. We need the information to carry out our contract with you. We need it to meet a legal duty. We have a legitimate interest in running the business and stopping fraud. Or you have given your consent, which you can withdraw.
Who we share it with
- Stripe processes payments and sends receipts. They have their own privacy policies.
- Brevo sends our transactional email, such as your download link, your licence key and messages about your order.
- Analytics and advertising services, if we use them. See the section on analytics and ads below.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it or we need advice on tax, accounting or legal matters.
Some of these providers may process data outside the country where you live. That can include countries with different data protection laws.
Payments and saved cards
Stripe takes card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link payments. We never see or store your full card number.
If you opt in at checkout, Stripe can save your card. That lets an add-on we offer right after your purchase be added in one click. The choice is yours.
Email about your order
We use Brevo to send transactional email. These are messages about your order, such as your download link and licence key. When you write to us, we keep your message and our reply so that we can help you.
Website analytics and ads
The website may use privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages people visit. For our ads, we may use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API. The Conversions API sends purchase events to Meta, so that we can see which ads led to a sale. These events may include limited information about the purchase and the buyer.
At the moment the site does not show a cookie banner. If we add tools that need your consent, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before we use them, where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as we need it for your licence, for tax and for accounting. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, for example in Australia, the EU or the UK, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy;
- ask us to correct it;
- ask us to delete it, or to limit how we use it;
- object to some uses, such as ads;
- withdraw your consent, where we rely on it;
- complain to your privacy or data protection regulator.
To use these rights, write to info@omnireel.video. We may need to check that it is you. We may have to keep some data for tax or accounting, even if you ask us to delete it.
Keeping your data safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if we add analytics or ad tools. We post changes on this page and update the date at the top.
