Your AI agent sets OmniReel up for you: it installs the tools, asks for your voice key, checks your computer and makes a test video. About 15 minutes, most of it waiting.

Before you start

Have these ready.

  • A Mac or Windows PC with 8 GB of RAM and 10 GB free (check).
  • Claude Code or Codex installed and signed in (Gemini CLI works too).
  • Your ElevenLabs API key: elevenlabs.io → Profile → API keys.
  • Your OmniReel download link and licence key, from your email.
  1. Download and unzip OmniReel

Put the folder somewhere you like, for example Documents.

  2. Open the folder with your AI agent

In Claude Code or Codex, open the OmniReel folder as your project.

  3. Say one sentence

Type this, and your agent does the rest:

Read START-HERE.md and set everything up for me.
  4. Give it your ElevenLabs key when it asks

It writes the key into a private settings file on your computer. Never into a chat, never to us.

  5. Watch the test video

It renders a sample with no paid calls. If it plays, your computer can make videos.

  6. Open the studio

Ask your agent to “open the studio”, or double-click Mo-Studio.command (Mac) or Mo-Studio.bat (Windows). It opens in your browser.

Your first video

Then just ask.

Type in the studio, or tell your agent directly. Some first sentences:

Make a myth-fact video about coffee and sleep, 45 seconds, for TikTok.
A 30-second just-listed reel for 12 Harbour Lane, 3 bed. Use my photos in /photos.
A 3-minute YouTube documentary on the history of the bicycle, paper-collage style.

If something goes wrong

Tell your agent: “Run python -m studio doctor and fix what it shows.” Every problem prints its own fix. Still stuck? Write to us with the doctor output.

Updating to a new version

Give the new zip to your agent and say “update”. Your projects and keys are kept; everything else is replaced and checked again.

Fifteen minutes from now,
your first video.
